Painted Canvas aims to inform our viewers, artists as well as art enthusiasts about upcoming art events like competitions and exhibitions. Since we are Cape Town based, we will focus on events happening in our area. However, we will also post about larger events in other areas of South Africa. We will appreciate any contributions about events that you know of that will take place in the next 3 to 4 months.

Painted Canvas aims not only to promote and support our own community of artists but ART in general. This is why we bring you the information about ART EVENTS. We focus mainly on Cape Town since we are based in Cape Town, but also in South Africa as a whole. We ask our artists and gallery owners to inform us of new art related events. And we ask our followers, art enthusiasts and art collectors to support these events.
